Math Intervention
Students who have some struggles in mathematics often benefit from additional, focused instruction in concepts that are difficult for them. At Oak Ridge, two full-time Math Interventionists - experienced teachers with expertise in mathematics content and instruction - work with students in small groups.
Reading Intervention
Short term Leveled Literacy Intervention (LLI) is provided to small groups of students who need additional reading instruction. Part-time Title I teachers - some of whom are retired Sandwich Public Schools teachers - provide expert instruction designed to accelerate reading growth.
